ASA Kerala

Alumni Society of AOTS Kerala (ASA Kerala) is an association of Professionals belonging to various streams of specialization including Engineers, Architects, Technicians, Management Consultants, Corporate Professionals etc. and Business men. All our members have undergone specialized training in Japan through AOTS Japan. ASA Kerala has been functioning as an Alumni Association of AOTS since 1968 (started as ABKD Kerala). It has been registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955 and has received Income Tax exemptions under sections 12 A and 80G of the Income Tax Act. ASA Kerala focuses on spreading knowledge on Japanese Management, Production and Quality Systems, Japanese work and social culture, Japanese Language etc. among Keralites.

However we organize all kind of Training Programs for up skilling the work force, executive and managerial level employees, entrepreneurs and the student community of Kerala. We also organize programs for participants from abroad nominated by the other AOTS Alumni Associations world over.

Nippon Kerala Centre

Nippon Kerala Centre (NKC) is the head quarters and campus of ASA Kerala located in the Academic Zone of Kinfra Hi- Tech Park, Kalamassery, Kerala. The campus is spread over one acre land provided by the Government of Kerala. NKC has infrastructure facilities to conduct residential training programs for upto 40 participants at a time. It also houses some promising start-ups.


Indo Japan Centre of Excellence

ASA Kerala has been branded as Indo Japan Centre of Excellence. We strive to emulate Japanese culture in all our activities and propagate Japanese work and social culture and their Production, Quality and Management systems among Keralites. We organize various training programs under the umbrella “Indo Japan Centre of Excellence”.


AOTS Japan

 Association for Overseas Technical Corporation and Sustainable Partnership (AOTS), Tokyo, Japan is the parent organization of ASA Kerala. AOTS is a non- profit autonomous organization functioning under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of the Government of Japan. It was established in 1959 with the objective of assisting in the development of human resources in developing countries. Trainers of AOTS are encouraged to form Alumni Associations of AOTS in their respective countries. There are 76 such Alumni Associations spread all over the world, out of which 10 are in India. ASA Kerala is one such Alumni Association.

Indo Japan Chamber of Commerce (INJACK)

       INJACK was promoted by ASA Kerala to take care of the business related interest of  ASA Kerala members as well as that of other entrepreneurs of Kerala and also to facilitate business collaborations between Japan and Kerala. This is a no-profit oriented company (Section 25 / 8 company) promoted by ASA Kerala. .
